Was in a hurry when I picked up my vehicle. Car had not been cleaned. They let me drive awAy in a dirty rental. Bugs still all over front and mirrors, food napkins left inside, feet prints all over glass (obviously from someone with their bare feet up on dash and all over windshield). It disgusted me. I had to pull over and spend my own cash cleaning up. Frustrated.

Prior to leaving for our trip I asked to use their restroom and they said I had to go to the grocery store across the parking lot.
This store on Riverdale Rd in Ogden, Ut was horrible. The two workers at the front desk could NOT look anymore unhappy to be at work that day. As I was standing in line waiting for my turn another employee came in looking like he had just rolled out of bed. He had shorts on and looked mad as all get out!
Staff was friendly and nice but expect to wait at least 20 minutes if you need to talk to somebody. I needed to extend my rental and had to call multiple times to get a hold of anybody I took over 30 minutes good luck.
Rental car was filthy, despite the gal saying to my face it was just cleaned. Not sure how she kept a straight face when it was obviously dirty...I understand stains and such that can't be removed.. how crazy that I was able to clean it myself with a simple wipe. Customer service not good.. both pick up and drop off. Almost got charged extra by "accident". If I wasn't in such a time crunch I would have just gone with a different company. Next time I will go elsewhere for sure.
We were given a sedan when I had booked an SUV so I asked for the car I booked. IT WAS FILTHY! There was dust and cat hair everywhere. We explained this to them and the gentleman that looked mad explained that it wasn't possible as he had just cleaned it. I showed it to him and he said, "hmmm, looks like I missed a spot". This became our go-to punch line for our trip that whole weekend.
Can I give a half star?? Our itinerary told us to get the car from the Ogden airport. Once we arrived at the airport there was a sign that said we needed to go to the store on Riverdale rd.
Worst rental car experience ever. Front desk staff couldn't have been more unpleasant or unfriendly. They acted totally put out to have to do their job! The car we rented was filthy and it had expired plates! Good thing I never got pulled over on my 900 mile road trip for having expired plates!! To top it off they charged me $240 more than what they quoted me. I'll NEVER rent from Budget again.
There are MANY such comments on this review board. I'm very surprised they're still in business. No I will NOT be calling the 1-800 number that I'm sure will be provided to me as I have PLENTY of other options for future car rentals.
