This department saved my life back in November of 2001. I want everyone to know the love and respect I have for these individuals that put their lives on the line every day for us. They risk not coming home to their families every shift for our safety. They do alot of saturation patrols especially during the late night hours and that attracts some bad comments occasionally. But to the people who have children here, and abide by the laws.....we don't have anything to fear. If your running narcotics, driving under the influence or without insurance......you may want to take another route. A truly wonderful department that protects and serves with care. Class personified in my opinion.
Then on top of it we have one of the gentleman who is on the council who lives right across the street from us and who is continuously picking on us and doing a lot of stuff it's unfair we're being picked on by North Ogden City if things don't get better unfortunately consequences are going to get worse legally.
When I was mentally ill and I incident had occurred instead of taking me to the medical ward they took me to jail and treated me like a piece of garbage and then since I bought my house in 2014 and North Ogden I've had a dog barking issue with my next door neighbor's since 2014 the hybrid wolf dog bit me when I was 8 months pregnant and I know there's stuff on file for all this cuz I have called the cops on them multiple times since 2014 just recently went down there to make another complaint to see what I had to do but nothing again is being done because I had a mental breakdown this is unfair you guys are not doing anything correct about anything you guys are awful awful human beings and all you do was hold people down and hold them and make people very angry at you and hate every cop in North Ogden City and just all the cops in Utah with your ignorance Animal Control the f****** joke they don't know what the hell they're doing nor do they really care about the animals safety.
It's not LAPD or NYPD.
The North Ogden Police Department is really focused on serving the residents of North Ogden City. The officers that work for the North Ogden Police Department are very conscientious they're service-based and they want to first and foremost resolve problems and issues before taking any kind of action. These officers routinely stop traffic to find those that are perhaps trying to distribute or transport illegal substances. The North Ogden Police Department officers have done a great job at taking drivers off the road that are driving under the influence by simply performing routine traffic stops. The North Ogden Police Department May at times receive bad publicity for the traffic stops that are performed in this town. But in the end these traffic stops make our community a much safer place. The police chief currently serving in North Ogden City has been here for a very long time and brings to the city and the department a wealth of experience education background knowledge and knowledge of the community and its residents. The city also conducts several programs including their youth court and many community-outreach outreach events to try and involve the public and the youth of our town in understanding obeying and abiding by the laws.
