We like Pleasant View in general and it is a nice quiet step north. We are just extremely disappointed in the lack of communication. It can come across as un-accepting and avoidant to some people included in minorities such as the Deaf community.
I am incredibly disappointed currently with the way the building permit and scheduling dept. has treated my boyfriend and I. He has done remodeling and construction for 20 years and had requested an inspection to build onto the home he recently bought in Pleasant View. The gal in scheduling said the inspector would text my boyfriend shortly to schedule a time to come by (text as he is deaf). He waited a week with nothing. A friend called in and was told he would come to inspect the next day and heard nothing still (today). So my boyfriend took the drawings down to the office to ask yet again, when they might be able to come inspect and they were closed, with no word regarding the commitment to come today. He needs to have enough time to get the shed complete before it gets too cold and certainly before the snow.
