5- He has people skills- empathy, communication, a positive attitude, etc. He is humble- and talks WITH you instead of AT you (which is not always the case when you visit drs.).

3-After meeting Dr. Thomas for the first time, he was able to scope my knee the very next day! (He said he would squeeze me into his surgery schedule due to the circumstances with my job, etc.)

Two thumbs up!! :)

I have had 2 knee scopes (with clean up/removal of tissue) by Dr. Thomas in the last year. I have interacted with him professionally at least 6 times. I mention both things as critical background information (i.e. why you should give any merit to my opionion). Dr. Thomas earned five stars from me for the following reasons...

6- He did an excellent job cleaning up my knee!

I currently am an on going patient with Dr. Thomas. He has done five different procedures on me since March 2015. During this time he has been great he treated me, explained and answered all my questions. His office staff have been very good with insurance claims and helping me with schedules.my wait time has been good. If I have had a problem they have been able to get the Doctor to call me back.I'm very happy with my surgeries and my scars are healing well. My recovery I feel is cared for.

4-Dr. Thomas really knows his stuff! His experience and research knowledge are very evident.

I usually leave amazing & detailed reviews. I am very upset that I had to leave a bad review but patients should know what my experience was before going! My son had a broke wrist & I google searched best orthopedics in Ogden Utah. Who doesn't want the best for their child? Guess I should have "read" the comments, instead of just looking at the stars. SO we were off to try out a new orthopedic. The first visit I was apprehensive about the rudeness of the front desk stafff. Then after almost an hour of waiting they sensor they gave me went off & they walked me back to a filthy room....80 I asked for a clean room, because I didn't even feel comfortable sitting in the seats, they were so dirty. They said "Well it is a cast room & we take off about 10 casts a day"... I said "you don't clean up after every patient?" Ewe! Nobody there wears name tags or anything to identify who they are. The technician (VERY RUDE) that had been dealing with my son, had not been covering my son with an apron during his X-ray's, I confronted her about this, then this same technician burned my son twice with the cast saw. I stopped her after the second time when he was screaming & crying , & she started laughing about it when I told her she would no longer touch my son . My son had so much anxiety from that, he would not let Dr. Thomas take off the cast. Dr. Thomas tried defending her, saying she had never hurt anyone, well my son would not have been crying & screaming for nothing. He was fine going in and now he has an anxiety or fear of getting his cast off. I had to go to the Er & after sedation & about 5 hours of building a rapport with an emt we finally got my son's cast off. I almost had to sign off for a shot to knock my 7 y/o out with more sedation! Sure enough he was burned! We will be finishing off with another orthopedic that cleans up after every patient, that covers them with aprons to protect them from radiation, & that will not burn my son. Of course the ER had to contact Dr. Thomas & they would not put another cast on him because of the anxiety & not being able to get this cast off for so long. Because of his fear that this office caused of someone else burning him, he had to go into a splint.

2-He explained things in words I could understand! He patiently and thoroughly answered my questions (and I ask a LOT of questions). I didn't feel dumb- I felt informed.

1-He gave me options for treatment, as well as pros and cons for each. I appreciated his low-pressure approach.

I love Dr. Thomas he has taken care of me for my shoulder and now my knee he is Amazing I would tell anyone and everyone to go see him, he is my #1 goto man.

He was a really good Dr the nurses and staff we really nice and helpful my mom had surrey for a torn toto cuff they were so nice and understanding about questions even explained them a few times to make sure we were OK rally good experience
